Dexter Procter Was born very different from other people; he had a more advanced brain than other people. Dexter always thought it was a good thing that he was smart because that would mean respect right. Well his life gave him a big fat no when he started school at the young age of 5.
Dexter didn’t like school, he didn’t have any friends even though he was the top of the class. He got his first friend at pe because he wasn’t very good at it. The girl who reached out to him was a girl called Ruby, a girl with diabetes who taught him that being different is ok and that’s how they became best friends. Unfortunately Dexter still had a problem and that problem was the bully’s. And his bully was Toby, a smart and wicked boy who hated Dexter because of how smart he was. After a while of being picked on he decided to get a bodyguard and that boy was Otto.
Otto was a goalie for the football team because he covered most of the goal. After a while of being Dexter’s bodyguard they became best friends. Dexter was too smart for school so he wanted to go to college but the problem was he was still 5 years old and to go college you needed to be 17 or older. Dexter was in a pickle because he was too smart for school and college was 12 years away so he had no idea what he would do for the next 12 years of his life.
Then it hit him being a doctor! The hospital needed a new doctor and it was perfect. At medical school it was not nice to be alone again and people did reach out to him but he didn’t want to give up on his old friends. After years of training and learning he finally finished medical school at the age of ten. He enjoyed working at the hospital helping patients and hanging out with friends on the weekend but one doctor called Drake was always mean to him and when he saw his old bully in the hospital he didn’t know how to react.
He tried to help him but nothing seemed to be wrong. Then Toby said he was being mean and lying and then something terrible happened he got fired! Luckily Dexter was a great detective and with the help of his friend Otto he managed to discover the evil plan of Drake and Toby and the mystery of the sick teachers. Dexter got his job back and everyone lived happily ever after.
