- 10 tablespoons of unsalted butter but it has to be room temp or it will give you problems later on.
- 1/2 cup (100 grams) of fine white sugar
- 1 large egg(or two very small eggs),at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (or vanilla powder) ( or half a teaspoon of vanilla paste , this works better than the extract)
- 2 cups (260 grams) all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder (or if you only have baking soda ½ and 2/2
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) jam ( or marmalade , raspberry , gooseberry any jam or marmalade will be fine as well )
When I used this recipe I got amazing results. I made raspberry, dark cherry and cloudberry tarts but the original raspberry was my favourite.
