We went to an awesome drama club yesterday and it was so much fun! We are doing a really cool drama with Charlie and the chocolate factory. It’s something I will really enjoy but instead of some boring school play in an assembly room, it’s going to be at an actual theatre in Sittingbourne! We didn’t do any acting yet or choosing characters but what we did do was games.
It was really cool and the reason we did games was so the people who arranged it (James and Jenny) would look closely so that next month’s drama club will be auditioning for who will be who. Some of the games were king and queen, riding the bus and others.Was really simple, there was two rows of chairs and a center aisle and you were given a ticket with an emotion on it and you would follow that emotion when you go on the bus, then the bus driver would act the same according to your emotion. I got bored, Samson got nervous and my friend got dramatic outrage. It was really fun and I think it was my favourite. King and Queen were all lined up on a wall not saying a word and those somebody in the chair. The person in the chair would have to guess the person’s voice. If correct, the person would have to go sit down again but if they got it wrong the person who said something to the king or queen would get to be the King or Queen.
