So I promised I would make another blog about Iceland, so, to be honest that is what I am currently working on. So we made bread in the ground, but, not some white or wholemeal sort of bread you would find in morrisons or co-op or some random place you would find in your everyday life, it was, i’ll give you a really good clue, it is brown, you would most likely eat it with my mum, it is, super sweet AMAZING!!! Rye Bread! To be honest with you, with the raw trout (which is a type of fish) it was soooo good I seriously can’t get over how good it was! And also, you might be thinking, “how on EARTH do you bake (great) rye bread in the ground?” Well, if I haven’t told you already, well, in Iceland the key to the bread is the ground! Because the lava is only one and a half kilometres from the surface, so it is very hot. We did a so-called “experiment,” and felt the soil, and even the soil was warm! The soil was either warm because of the nature and the lava, or, someone peed in it but uh, I won’t go into details. But, there is 1 more thing that you have to know, my Dads friends live close to a volcano, and not too long ago, it erupted! Out of their window, there is a photo but, I will show you another day, but anyways, greet you now and I say bye later on, oh yes!
