Puma S (fiction)

The Puma S is an interesting shoe. Made by a man called Alexander Albie Fiddlestick Slander. He was a man who was half colour-blind and also a dwarf but on top of that, a really big Nike Jordan fan. One day he got a job at Puma and he became a shoe designer. He loved his job but could never think of any good ideas for a shoe. As we know, Alexander was also half colour-blind so he could only see a couple colours. It’s very weird though because it’s quite likely that half colour-blind people can only see red, blue and green. But Alexander on the other hand, could only see purple, red and black so this gave him extremely complicated eyesight.

One day he had an idea. He thought to himself, “If I’m a big fan of Nike’s Jordan, I can only see the colours purple, red and black I work for Puma AND my last name starts with an S, why not make a pair of basketball shoes called the Puma S with the colours purple, red and black and interestingly complicated!!” And that’s exactly what he did! He made them complicated by making them so on one shoe, it had purple sides and a red top with red laces and on the other shoe, red sides with a purple top and purple laces! Then on the bottom it’s just black. He was so chuffed on how they came out and decided to show them to his Boss, the rogue man who owned all of the Puma stores in the world… Sapphire Teacup Puma!

Poor Alexander was scared of his presentation at the assembly but he had it all written out, he was CONFIDENT!! Behind the curtain, he was last to show his presentation, that just built up his anxiety even MORE! He also saw everyone else’s designs which made him feel bad and made him have thoughts like, “What if Sapphire hates my idea!” or, “Maybe he will think it’s ugly and I will become a laughing STOCK!” He was so scared he could barely even talk! (FYI: Sapphire was a big man that you did not want to mess with, he was 10 ft tall which made him at least 4 times as big as ALEXANDER!) Alexandr stepped up onto the stage, instantly he dropped all his cards on the floor with his notes! This was already a bad start to his presentation, he was trying to sort them into their original places but then, HE purposely dropped them and did the presentation by heart!

Everyone was amazed and he finally passed. He was joyous and never took those shoes off again! Weather proudly all day and all night. Even in bed! He made probably one of the most successful shoes that Puma had ever made. Years had passed and he saw millions of people wearing his shoes! He could find himself on Google and he could find his presentation on YouTube! Even started his own small Puma shop in his back garage! Would ask people, “What shoe size are you 12, eight and a half? I got you!” The rest of his life he was a happy man!
