I have recently read the Ellen Raskin classic, The westing game. It was a very confusing book and because of that I didn’t enjoy it. My brian just found it hard to understand. Personally it was just too bland , yeah sure it had some suspense but nothing that intriguing. It would have been nice to have some pictures, to get a grasp on who they were because until halfway through I realised that most of them are over 40. My favourite character would probably be Turtle because ,1 she was the youngest ,2 she had some interesting secrets and 3 she did the most interesting stuff.
Overall, I would rate it 2 stars, not super interesting but still ok. I would recommend it to an adult who likes muder mystery or a smart and mature kid. If you want to find out if they all make it out alive and who wins all the money at stake go read it now.
