This is my honest review of Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz.
This is a book about a young teenager called Alex, who goes on a secret spy mission because of a tragic accident. This is an interesting spy thriller on how the 14 year old boy saves the world. I think this is the first genre that I’m not a big fan of. It was pretty good but the plot was a little too slow for me. That’s just my opinion, and I know a lot of people love these types of books.
One of my favourite parts in this book is when a wicked lady gets what she deserves. The gadgets that a famous inverter made him were really impressive. The first one was a yo yo that had a super strong string that could extend to up to 50 metres which could clip to his belt which was useful when you need to get down from a tall building. The second gadget was a special cream that can dissolve any metal and it was disguised as zit cream. The last was a Nintendo ds which each game had a different use like Nemesis would be used to copy any document to share with the HQ. Then there was bomber-boy which could turn into a smoke bomb then there was exoset which was used as an x-ray. And speed war used to listen out for electronic bugs and last but not least Mario kart it literally has no use It’s just normal.
My rating for this book is 4/5 stars because its great just its not really for me.
